At Inner Calm Clinical Psychology, we have a team of Psychologists who each bring their own distinctive approach and experience. When you get in touch with us, we’ll take the time to understand what you’re looking for, so we can connect you with the Psychologist who’s the right fit for you, your preferences and your goals.

Before I get into my qualifications, experience, and therapeutic interests, I’d like to share a little bit about why I’m passionate about the work I do and my approach to therapy. I absolutely love my job. Every day when I go to work, I feel honoured to have the opportunity to meet someone, hear their story, and collaboratively apply evidence-based therapies to help them reach their goals. I approach every session with my core values of being compassionate, respectful, and genuine. I also highly value empirical evidence and enjoy sharing findings from research studies that relate to what an individual is experiencing or is likely to find beneficial. Now onto the qualifications!
After completing my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology in the United States, I moved to Australia where I completed a combined Master of Clinical Psychology/PhD at the University of Wollongong, receiving an Examiners’ Commendation for Outstanding Thesis. My Honours, Masters, and PhD research all centred on improving treatments for anxiety, which remains a core focus of my clinical work. Over the years, I have provided psychological care in a variety of settings including: private practices, a specialist anxiety clinic, headspace, an inpatient facility, and university clinics.
While I enjoy supporting clients across a broad range of concerns, I am particularly interested in:
I am trained in delivering Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and will tailor an approach based on the client’s presenting concerns, goals, and values.
As a Board-Approved Supervisor, I am also available to provide supervision to registered psychologists, clinical psychologists, clinical psychology registrars, and provisional psychologists undertaking a higher-degree pathway (i.e., clinical psychology). I value supervision as a space to foster reflective and reflexive practice, professional growth, and ethical, evidence-based care.
I hold full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and an area of practice endorsement in clinical psychology.
I spend a lot of time in therapy talking about the importance of doing things that bring you meaning and purpose. For me, that’s spending time with my family and travelling. When I’m not traveling, I spend a lot of my spare time planning our next adventure! I also love going to live music with my husband; we’ve racked up quite a few artists over the years!
That’s me in a nutshell. If you think you might like to work with me, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
